Website design: Software Pages

edited November 2020 in General

How do we want our software pages to look? I think the wikipedia format is fine but I don't think we should try and maintain the version information and we should include links to community, bug tracker & programming language. Maybe also what other software it is built on top of? @Moult has done a version at https://wiki.osarch.org/index.php?title=BlenderBIM_Add-on which I think looks fine.
I'm still learning how wikimedia infobox templates work as I think that's the way to go. If anyone has experience with them please help me!

It is my opinion that we should keep software pages short and precise. They are meant to draw people to the software not keep them on our site. What we can offer is maybe some contextual information about workflow and integration with other software. So let's keep it simple.

Q: what sections do we want?
