I have created a pointcloud using colmap, can import it into blender as a .ply, and with a bit of effort can align it with an existing IFC model.

What are my options? it isn't a huge pointcloud, do I have to keep a sidecar .blend file? I tried converting it to IfcAnnotation but Bonsai cleaned-up and removed all the points (very slowly). Ideally it would be a separate IFC that I can load using the federation tool.
