BB: added new property in propertyset template

Maybe i'm doing this wrong, but after creating a new test property in Property Set Template I assumed i would see this new property under 'IFC Object Property Sets'.
Am I doing something wrong?

  • Maybe try to save the IFC file and restart BBim?

Hi @Massimo, unfortunately that doesn't work.
If you do the same, as illustrated in the video, does it work?

  • Sorry @Massimo, i take that back, it did work closing Blender down.

noticed the templates are saved here.
    \scripts\addons\blenderbim\bim\data\pset

  • @theoryshaw good!
I noticed also in other situations that sometimes what is viewed in the ui is not the same of what is saved in the ifc file and reboot solves the problem.
Maybe refactoring the module solves the problem.

  • @theoryshaw yeah this is confirmed to be a nuisance. I tried figuring out how to fix this but I couldn't manage to get blender to update the template data. Moult mentioned refactoring the code was on the todo list..

  • @vpajic if you want to know more about the refactoring, this issue can help https://github.com/IfcOpenShell/IfcOpenShell/issues/1848.
I didn't investigate too much, but i think the problem here is with data that is not refreshed with the UI or data managed by two different data.py files...
I guess that refactoring the module allows to solve this kind of problems...
