testing IFC export/import from FreeCAD to RVT problem with pipes
Hi there everyone, i wonder if any of you have ran into this problem...? THE PIPE LOOKS SQUARED. I was testing importing and exporting to see how IFC files work exchanging them when made in different applications and to know if they can differ in behavior eventhough IFC should be "universal" to say so... So i ran into this difference when creating a pipe in FreeCAD BIM... I Created a pipe and then tested it on RVT to see if it graphically appears the same , so it did not, it turned out to look squared...
Does anybody have knowledge on what is the reason?
Also, i did make a pipe in Blender and in RVT it was round and the same as in Blender, so the problem i have ran into is only from FreeCAD to RVT...
I like using OS, but the people i work with are regular varsity RVT users... so when i exchange my files with them they cannot see the thing i modeled in the way i can see it...
I would greatly appreciate if anyone gives me feedback on experiences or problems with this subject.

Can you share your IFC model? We can then figure out what is wrong and report to @yorik.
Ifc file would help indee :)
Might also consider to discuss at FreeCAD forum https://forum.freecad.org/viewforum.php?f=23&sid=0078be912ddafd15ca881bfc8e2a0ac7
AFAIR these pipes are exported as extruded circles, which in Revit might be discretized into very broad facets, while possibly BBIM exports them as faceted already. But yes, we would need to see the file to make sure.
