Syntax in Spreadsheet Import/export
Hi,
I'm trying Import/Export for values obtained with "Manual Quantification" but I can't export the value.
Normally I use IfcElement as a filter and custom pset attributes (Pset_Name.Pset_Property) without problems but if I want to include a value generated with Manual Quantification ("My_Qto.Long" for example), in that field the value obtained is N/A.
It's probably a problem with the selection filter but I don't know how to modify it.
Has anyone done something similar? Any suggestions?.
(I think it's related to what was indicated in the thread
https://community.osarch.org/discussion/2613/use-property-value-for-quantity-schedule
and a possible alternative to fill custom psets with quantities)

Hi @avico
here is an example I just tried with a model I am working on
I select a pile and manually extract its length saved as My_Qto.MyDimension, using Gross Z from IfcOpenShell engine:
this is the same custom quantity in quantity set:
I use Spreadsheet Import/Export
and this is the output (only 1 pile was used for the manual calculation)
you also need to make sure that the manual take-off saves in a custom quantity property indide Quantity Sets
please advise
Thanks @steverugi ,
In the end it is my mistake. The first elements of the exported file do not have values so it always appeared N/A. Looking at all the values the export is correct.
With this you can fill user Psets with quantities simply by exporting to csv, opening with openoffice and copying the corresponding cell
