Use IfcShapeAspect in BB?

It doesn't seem like BB accommodates IfcShapeAspect.
Would there be an advantage to do so?
Might be an additional way to organize a scene?
Might be a way to 'get at' or modify multiple extrusions in a IFCSHAPEREPRESENTATION, for example.
Thinking outloud.
