Getting started with 3D BIM + GIS programming

The registration for the second edition of the IFC.js Crash Course is open just for this week! This course focuses on getting started with web programming from scratch, so no previous knowledge is needed. Of course, using open BIM and open source technologies. ?
The results of the hackathon that concluded the course were incredible, including web-based 3D GIS + BIM apps. Here you have the recording of the concluding webinar. ?
The goal of these courses is twofold: on the one hand, we increase the community of open source developers in our industry, creating a diverse and creative climate that we hope will be a breeding ground for the future of the BIM software ecosystem. ?
On the other hand, 100% of the money raised is being invested in new features through bounties to further advance IFC.js. Investing time on a voluntary basis is very commendable, but we are paying all contributions in a transparent and decentralised way. There are people that have already taken away 4 figures for relatively small contributions. Our goal for this year is to reach $100K, which we will reinvest in the community. ?
