BIMServer + IFC.js = ?
I don't know anything about BIMServer or IFC.js, i just know a little bit how to use IfcOpenShell-Python.
I know there was this project BIMsurfer, that added on top of BIMserver Ifc viewer skills, however i don't know if that's already good.
What i know is, we need a opensource backend to save great amount of ifc data and a opensource fronted, that a end user can use to view the ifc project that it needs -> like choosing in a map between dozen of ifc buildings .
I don't know if BIMServer is the best backend or Ifc.js the best fronted, so I want to know your opinion :)

BIMServer works, though doesn't look very sexy :) The BIMServer viewer is pretty barebones, as is BIMSurfer. By far the most polished web frontend is Xeokit. It pairs with OpenProject. IFC.JS doesn't scale to large projects (yet?) unfortunately. I did a detailed review recently which you can find here: https://github.com/IfcOpenShell/IfcOpenShell/issues/2224

Great review, how about making this a 'dynamic' document somewhere, as this is constantly evolving. Would also like to see some widely used CDE' s included..
