I would need to generate a monthly 3D sun path similar Ladybug/Ecotect in Blender that could be exported as 3D CAD and wonder if you know of a nice plugin?
According to the installation instruction I should "Install Ladybug Tools (scroll down on https://blenderbim.org/download.html - download zip and install like any other add-on)" but I cannot find the ZIP-file. I tried to download the zip-from github but got errors like "fake_module: addon missing 'bl_info' gives bad performance!: ..."

Unfortunately this isn't creating a mesh but I'm sure a bit of diving in the code can get you the locations easily, after all they're used in the batch shader in the addon.

Did you try ladybug in sverchok?
https://github.com/ladybug-tools/ladybug-blender
That would be a good solution but I have not been able do download and install it.
Not sure if it still works... https://github.com/kevancress/sun_position_b28_test
What exactly doesn't work? I just use the sun position add on to do my shade studies, what result do you need?

Could one of you please add a little bit to our LadybugTools page on the wiki about running it in Blender with Sverchok?
If there are descriptions somewhere out there just link to them with a short text. Maybe there are discussions here worth linking to?
It would be great to know what versions of Blender and Sverchok it would install and run on.
