Turn on/off geometry in the type
Is there an IFC mechanism for a type to have a certain geometry, but for instances, you can turn it on/off.
For example, if you have a window type with geometry for muntins or trim, for example, and you can decide, in the type, to turn on/off this geometry for the instances.

No :( That would then be two types: a window with a trim and a window without a trim (similar to how in real life you'd have two types you'd procure / install).
