Timeline doesn't update after saving .blend file

I find that the timeline for the Scheduling Animation doesn't update once the .blend file is saved and reopened.
I have to remove the Timeline and then again click on Create Animation to get the timeline to start updating.
Is this a bug?

    Hello! Looks like a bug. Can you please report it to Github issues and attach some example .ifc with steps how to reproduce it?
