Who's got the biggest ..... ?
At Speckle, with some help from our friends, we’ve been diving into the IFC parser that has been used for some time and are ready to conduct some stress tests. In addition, we have been looking at how we can leverage alternatives if one should fail—but that is a different story for another bedtime.
The Speckle team is hardworking, but we have yet to have the opportunity to create a >1GB IFC file in our side hustles. Have you? If so, we’d love for you to share it with us!
Thanks to @Moritz_Henschel, we have a fist full of NDAs ready. Rest assured, nothing will leave Speckle HQ’s virtual walls (unless you want it to).
We’ve learned, and then learned again, that file size and complexity in the IFC world don’t always go hand in hand. So, we’d be especially interested in your large and complex IFC file.
