Luminaires and Photometric ies files.

Hi,
Is it possible to attach an ies file (photometric data) to some light fixture geometry in Blender BIM and export it (or save it ) as an ifc file with the ies data attached? Perhaps under the category of "Luminaire"? This would be to create a library of luminaires that could be inserted(and arrayed) across future building projects.
