Editing own posts without a time limit
Hi,
We've noticed that once posted, a message can only be edited within a few hours (1 day).
E.g.:
We'd be glad if we could edit a message without a time limit, as almost every community forum on the web does nowadays.
Thanks.

Strange, this was already set with this permission. Does anyone else have this problem?

I lose the ability after a day.
[Edit] Oops. Well this was an accidental double comment that I've just edited. But I can't edit messages from yesterday. The gear cog on the comment is missing.
I just discovered something: https://community.osarch.org/uploads/editor/vs/fmexgmkzl5kf.mp4
Try now.
I 'think' this might have been because of this: https://chatgpt.com/share/6748a41a-ceb8-8013-94e5-51c7906b8b25
Still no cog wheel on messages older than one day and a timeout still exists on my most recent ones.
Also, I logged out/back in using a new private window of my browser. Just in case...
Ping; this still is an issue.
@swiss_knight
I was under the impression that editing time is something that increases along with the user's points or similar
well at least that was true in my experience anyway :)
cheers
Yeah, i'm not sure. I looked all around the admin dashboard. The only thing i could find is noted above.
Maybe there's a hardcoded setting in the config file. Maybe @Moult knows.
