Experimental Add-ons: Save Outliner States and Viewport Bookmarks
Hi,
Sharing two small 'easter egg' add-ons for Bonsai!
They let you save and restore Outliner states and Viewport Bookmarks, with everything stored in JSON files.
Still very much work-in-progress, but figured they might be useful as a starting point.
Note: when starting a new IFC project, you’ll need to manually clean up old views and states.
Built these with some help from ChatGPT.
Made them because I needed a way to save viewpoints for presenting the model.
The project I'm using to learn Bonsai is a renovation, so managing element visibility in different phases became important — Outliner states really help both while modeling and when showing the results.

Thanks. possible to do a little video capture on how to use?
Some sort of demo added :)
I didn't know how to embed a video in a post.
cool thanks. It's somewhat a hack, but you can do this: https://community.osarch.org/discussion/comment/20403/#Comment_20403
Nice simple and slick UI. FWIW Blender has a builtin addon named "stored views" that does sort of the same thing as your addon. You can access it from the Extensions part of the preferences if you want to compare. I once worked on a similar type of addon, extending the Stored Views one. maybe you can find something valuable. It will certainly not register in newer version seeing as it's 4 years old. https://github.com/Gorgious56/stored_views_advanced Cheers
