changing the styles and texts of section tags, fill areas, stair arrows etc.
Hello everybody, im very thrilled about the recent updates of bonsai and am considering to use this addon as a CAD alternative for an upcoming office. If all works out well im planning to set up donations from the income :) but theres a few headscratchers i tried solving on my own but couldnt figure out any solution for yet:
section tags
These are set up by the css file and svg presets, but no matter what i try, i cannot remove the "RL" from it or have multiple markers available right from the start (for example measuring the axis or bottom). Changing the "Pset" Annotation fields did not work here.fill areas
Same here, is it possible to have different fills available? In the svg it always only grabs the style of the standard one.stair arrows
The text here would be perfect to put e.g. the number of risers, but i find no way of editing them.set up specialized stylesheets and unique filter for objects by view
It would be great if there was a way to change the spreadsheet used for individual views, but even though changing them in the Pset doesnt work, it rather causes missing symbols etc. It would also be amazing if theres a way to have a filter for each view seperately rather than for all of them together.railing height of windows
In the object data tab i see the "min decomposed z" which would be exactly the number i need to write the railing height by bulk tag, but is there a way to insert thi as a function into a text-tag field? Is there a way to color objects by type/data also for export?
Are differently colored lines in the representation possible?
Theres probably more to come, but finding a solution for these things would already make my day :)

It is a little old, however this video may help you:

Thanks for the fast replies!
Yes, I looked at the videos and it did help me with the fill area issue already. To my points (and also to answer theory shaw):
1. That's good to know! This would really be an important request of mine. If I felt more comfortable programming I'd offer to help, but ChatGPT just barely helps me survive :)
2. It'd be nice (for consistency reasons) if fill areas could be determined in the pset_annotation .classes data entry as well.
3. Same answer as my No.1
4. Sorry for the confusion, so my request would be to assign different colors to different styles (e.g. in floor plans: tiles are displayed red, parquet blue etc), just like the function to color objects by type in the viewport. Only now for export to SVG and saved in the view (like a stylesheet)
5. Yes, exactly like that! Only with the "min decomposed z" value. I tried all combinations I could think of, but the tag did not work.
6. And 7. Yes, the svg-export is what I am needing.
By the way, my job is that of an architectural draftsman. If I could help specifically with ideas or features for documentation (since this is 99% of what I do) just let me know!
