Austrian traffic signs to download external

I´ve created some austrian traffic Signs and I will create more and more the next time, at the end I will offer it as bundle. (all signs are created in the sizes of the standards and ifc2x3, ifc4, ifc4x3 classified as IfcProxyElements in ifc4x3 as IfcSigns , 9 and 12 files per sign, depending on the signtype ).
Like in this thread explained, all objects are extruded out of .svg and colored with IfcStyle to have compatibility in most of the BIMsoftwaretools.
Here is the link to the Signs

A little overview in modeling such libraries in bonsai. (Maybe some things causes from the .ifc schemata)

    • cleaning up the generated meshlines out of .svg with limited dissolve is very useful to have clean geometry after filling the faces (and extrusion).
    • in .ifc2.3 applying styles to representation items it´s not possible (the parts are not shown and there will be an error.) So it´s useful to start in .ifc4 upgrading to ifc4.3 (reassign class) and copying the single parts in a .ifc2x3 and classify them.
    • in .ifc4 all is working well. (hint: if the class is unlinked and the object is scaled and relinked, it´s good to save - reload and purge the Types and Styles)
    • after upgrading from .ifc4 to 4.3 it´s really nice to reassign a ifc4.3 specific class.
    • in ifc2.3 and 4 sometimes the namestrings -if they are long and with spaces- losing some characters at the end.
    • positioning the instance (if Type + Instance is created) with "shift+s Numpad1" and "shift+s Numpad8" also saves time.
    • project library import is also very useful (to import Styles and materials for clean style and materialdata)
      Happy modeling!
