Need to find a workflow for modeling space objects (IfcSpace)
Creating IfcSpace objects from manifold mesh object as a tesselated ifc space object
any help much appreciated
Where do you struggle? If you are modeling a Blender object and classify it, it should be a tesselated object. If your using the blendermenue "addObject - IfcElement" and use Space the result is the same, there are some visibility options and things to know. The Space is not automatically in the Ifc structural decomposition, but there you have to turn on visibility, if that causes troubles... FaceSets are tesselated I think.

@Mas thx
Does the position of the object (IfcSpace) origin have any relevance?
@CadGiru np, in bonsai and bimvision it seems to cause no troubles. in the Ifcdocs it seems also to be correct in the middle (as created in blender).

(its for profiles, but...)
Not 100% sure but imo all inside and at the edges/points of the "boundingbox" of the object can be handled, also the projects zeropoint. "Crazy ones" maybe creates position proplems at saving.
in case somebody needs it:

1. select Definition: IfcSpatialElement , Class: IfcSpace
