this is an interesting Addon, still early days but looks like this will help us ones with CAD backgrounds work in a hybrid workflow in Blender

Yes, this is the same add-on, the developer rebranded it. He's very active and updates frequently, so I'd encourage everyone to check it out and give him a feedback or support.
