Linked duplicates?
Ok, what have I done wrong this time?
I created a wall of a particular type, modified it with an IfcHalfSpaceSolid and gave it a name. I then duplicated it and moved the new wall to the correct location and gave it a new name. Repeat twice more, 4 walls in total all with unique names and GlobalIDs, varying Common Statuses and varying Predefined types.
I then trimmed the walls with those they connect to, all looked good so I saved and went to bed.
This morning I have opened the file again to find all 4 walls trimmed exactly the same way, only the third one (left to right) is correct.

What could I have done wrong (or not done) that has resulted in these walls being linked after duplication? And why did it not show up straight away? They looked fine last night.

how did you use this IfcHalfSpaceSolid? Was it for the corners? If so, you don't have to do that manually, if you 'trim' the walls together. If you use 'trim' it will add these IfcHalfSpaceSolids automatically...and if you regen, it will regen these IfcHalfSpaceSolids automatically, as well.
Just a note, i hardly every manually add IfcHalfSpaceSolids in my projects.
I either trim/extend walls, or use roof slabs (as in a gable) to extend the wall up to, and it automatically tapers the wall to the roof slab.
The HSS were for the bottom of the wall, the house is on a slope. You can see the cut on the third wall, the base of the back half is level, the front half is ~20 degrees.
yeah, not sure then.. can you share the file?
Sure.
I was having the same trouble with two walls at the rear (Hide all NEW to see them). I created the thicker wall and duplicated it then change the type to WAL50. Later I did some other changes on the thick wall and the thin one had reverted to thick. That's not happening in the attached file because I deleted the thin one & recreated it not as a duplicate. So it's not just the once this has happened.
It seems a lot of the problems can be solved with a 'regen'... followed up with some 'trimming'.
Or perhaps i missed what you're problem is exactly.

And now I feel silly again. One button push is all it needed.
One unlabelled button push.
Thank you yet again @theoryshaw
