Call for interesting screenshots of the BlenderBIM Add-on for the new website

Hey all! There is a new website design to be released soon, which you can see a preview here: https://blenderbim.org/v2/

However right now there is only one screenshot :) It would be nice to have a few more, say 3 minimum. If you've got a cool screenshot you'd like to be published on the homepage, this is the place to submit it! I think the criteria should be:

  • It should show the Blender interface, it should be clear that this is an add-on to Blender. So no project renders for example.
  • It should not show random other desktop interface widgets like a taskbar with Microsoft Flight Simulator open in the background.
  • The Blender interface should use the default theme so as to not confuse users.
  • The resolution should be consistent, so that the transition is not jarring. I'm not sure the best way to do this. Maybe it means that it needs to be one guy who takes all the screenshots to make sure they look the same?
  • Ideally should demonstrate a capability of the add-on, you can see capabilities shown below the carousel.
  • Ideally it should demonstrate a diversity of project scales or typologies (e.g. small residential, medium industrial, large hospital, etc).

Even super cooler would be for each image to be a little animated GIF/vid that shows editing/orbiting/scrolling a gantt chart/etc - for example I am very inspired by CAD Sketcher's website which clearly communicates exactly what it can do.

Any thoughts? Anybody with experience in doing this type of thing or with cool content?

    Some suggestions for the image:
    1) Use a model of a modern building.
    2) Use white background in the blender 3D viewport.
    3) if possible, include texture in the 3D model. Or multiple view ports with different images, showing some workflow. Or something that looks like "Wow! Revit can't do that".
    4) Maybe here you can find a IFC model https://github.com/buildingSMART/Sample-Test-Files/tree/master/IFC 2x3/SDK - S1

PD: I think Blender default theme is fine for working but not good for displaying a image of a project with a "wow" filing. A black model with a black background is a no no.
