    I would have a problem spending so much money and CO2 on that kind of travel - even if someone was willing to give us the money. How about we start by joining the live stream?

    If we have money it could instead be spent buying someone time to write submissions to bS.

    From there we encourage more and better integration of in-person and virtual attendance.

    I think I might've attended one of these remotely in the past, so I think remote is definitely an option.
