Hey all, we're planning to migrate servers around Monday, so there will be a bit of downtime :) I can be contacted at dion@thinkmoult.com for anything urgent.

  • Any electrical engineers here? How useful is this for line diagrams in construction? How do people currently do this in proprietary software?

I am not an electrical engineer, at a first glance they look mostly for electronic circuitry to design boards rather than ordinary residential electric system? would be curious to know the answer from an expert..

  • oh yes.. posted to fast. but QElectroTech.org is still the choice.
one day, the symbols will be ifc-linked.. the residential electric defined in rdf style.. topoligic and some AI will do the rest ?

  • As for electrical equipment in buildings, it seems difficult to draw protective devices such as circuit breakers and overcurrent relays, and switching devices such as electromagnetic contactors, motor starters and disconnects. This is an initiative that we hope to see more of.
