Hi @theoryshaw
the option to copy elements to different container (storey) using 'Object Metadata > Spatial Container' is not longer available?
'No Reference Found' is always displayed instead
I tried to ctrl or shift the element in the Outliner along with the desired container but no joy there, thanks
@steverugi select all containers you want to copy to, then select one or more elements you want copied to those containers. Click the edit icon, then you can copy to those containers.
Note that ctrl/shift may not work because by default now spatial elements in the outliner are locked / disabled for selection.
This is a pretty poor UX. We need to do better, but at least the function is there. The reason the previous method was removed (of the hierarchical listing) was because 1) it duplicated the code twice and 2) didn't handle containers across the tree, especially in complex hierarchies. Suggestions on how to improve UX very welcome.

Hi thanks @Moult for the quick reply, I'm very sorry but I don't fully understand your instructions
I activated the Selectable pointer in the Outliner to (I imagine) select a container but I'm not sure its use tbh, selecting an element after it deselects the container, I suppose the 'edit' refers to the Spatial Container?
when available an explanation for dummies would be appreciated, thanks

EDIT
OK got it now
first select the container in the Outliner or 3D Vieport > shift and, in the 3D Viewport , select the element to copy > click on the pencil in Spatial Container that reads 'No References Found' (ignore it) > finally the Copy Object to Selected shows up to copy the selected elements to the desired container
I made it! ;) thanks

It would be useful to 1) select the elements 2) select the destination container , atm I feel the "copy to container" feature only allows manual selection of the elements to copy, cheers
Was just running through my errors and I caught this one: https://github.com/IfcOpenShell/IfcOpenShell/issues/5249
Just created the issue now
Essentially when editing a new RL line in section it gives an error and breaks the drawing
The problem with pitch roofs persists - setting gable angles misbehaves when changing edge dimensions. Sometimes exiting the Edit mode leads to Blender abruptly crushing.
Comments
I don't why but the 'Create Drawing' gives an "unknown error", especially for drawings created in earlier versions with custom wall layer settings.

@Owura_qu this morning there was a version bump which should address these issues.

So far so good. Create drawings working now :)

@Owura_qu can you report a bug ideally with the simplest possible way to recreate it?
This seems to be the remaining showstopper bug that I'm aware of: https://github.com/IfcOpenShell/IfcOpenShell/issues/5248
Ok will visit the page and do that. Thank you.
