i have seen that you dont make the ramp as solid. so is it okay in IFC validation, i mean is that valid object.

how can we load the ifc demo library on startup ?

@kalpit3d just select the demo library, instead of blank project, before create new project

@kalpit3d IFC does not have geometric requirements. It's valid to have an object with no geometry, or geometry that is an infinitely thin plane, or a solid that is a mesh, or a solid that is an extrusion, etc. The only thing to consider is whether or not that geometry is appropriate for your visualisation / documentation (e.g. if it's not solid, then in a section view you won't get the depth).

Personally I don't like instructional videos they always move to fast. I would rather see a wiki with short video just long enough to select whatever you are selecting or to show a technique and then go back to text. Blender and Bonsai with the plethora of other add ons available in the interface is like stuffing 100 lbs of potatoes in a 2 lb sack. Then you add the constant updates to the programs and it is like drinking from a firehose. However, fast you make the video I guarantee you you you are going to fast. and you need to use a bigger font so you can actually see the selections being made in the software as you select them. Need to slow it down to 1/4 impulse NOT Warp Speed! We are not running a race here.

check your point nr. 2, if it's hard (and expensive in terms of resources) to keep up with videos, imagine wiki, but you are welcome to contribute anytime

if I need someone who helps me without charging or demanding anything in return, I would normally use a more, I should I put it.. polite approach? just saying
