Simple add-on to subdivide at cursor and then auto 'grab'.
- Subdivides selected edges with new vertex positioned closest to mouse cursor
- Automatically enters grab mode after subdivision for immediate positioning
- Adds menu entry in Edit Mode > Edge menu with separator

You can now create the vertex without having to select the edge first.
