Affect different status to two representations of the same object in IFC

edited May 28 in General

Hello,
In IFC, would it be consistent (and possible in Bonsai?) to assign two different EPset_Status ( DEMOLISH, NEW) values to two representations of the same object?
In other words, how would you approach modeling an object whose geometry has been modified? For example, in HBIM, for a stone block that has been damaged, I want to have both the current geometry as it was surveyed and the geometry it had at the time of construction.
Thanks!

I suspect you need two separate elements for that with their respective status, they can be turned on/off accordingly using a dedicated panel:

BTW if you wonder why the Status panel is under Costing and Scheduling you are not alone ;)
