Had this issue using university internet (I assume there is a block on certain IP's), it would not allow the extensions page to connect,
To get around it download Bonsai directly: https://github.com/ifcopenshell/ifcopenshell/releases
And install it the old fashioned way:

No, not here, I also booted the PC today (few hours ago) and updated Bonsai and some other Extensions (from extensions.blender.org).
But my online repository for Bonsai is raw.githubusercontent.com
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/IfcOpenShell/bonsai_unstable_repo/main/index.json
Which is the latest Bonsai build, not the official version.
And I use latest official Blender 4.4.3 and/or 4.5 Alpha.
