I highjacked Blender, Bonsai, GeoNodes to Obim One Interoperability with a simple Sverchok script.

I attach my test with sverchok, with ‘opening’ type element I have not been able to, but with ‘booleans’, but as I do things at random, I am not sure if it is decisive. The nodes are not lost...

I think the workflow you are looking for is SVerchok + Ifcnodes + BlenderBim (now 'Bonsai')

There are other Blender-based possibilities, like Geometry Nodes (node-based, so it's not really as user-friendly as other tools), Sverchok (node-based too, and has a bridge to ifc with Sverchok-ifc)
