Is there a way to preset the Z value when placing an IfcWallType instance? It does not respect the 3D cursor placement

Oh damn i think(?) it used to do it at the height of the cursor I suppose that reset with the new wall engine. Maybe a request to Dion?

To Add a RL height button setting here?
Great idea! https://github.com/IfcOpenShell/IfcOpenShell/commit/ec955ca7173a8c175576d03bf3dcba97cfb144f9
Same for Beams, all Type instances actually, am I missing something? I just downloaded the latest release.

Is it also possbile to set the orientation of an ifctype instance before placing them?
Another question:

Is it possible to extend an IfcBeamType instance to an IfcWallType instance?
i don't think there is yet... would be cool.
You can place your 3D cursor on the wall, and extend to it:
