  • Hi @Katherine welcome to the forum for your first post - I hope you stick around.

Where can I access the source code of the Canvas LMS project? I see that Canvas LMS connects to many open source learning tools, but is Canvas LMS itself open source? There are a few places where Canvas says it has "won" clients from "competitor" "legacy" projects like Moodle. That's unusually negative language from an open source project. Usually in opensource & libre software we try and build each other up rather than knock each other down.

You can see I have some reservations before I would consider spending more time looking at the platform. I hope you are able to clarify these points.

Great to announce that for August's monthly meetup we will have @dimitar Pouchnikov from UH Studio talking about Blender for Architectural Concept Design!
The meetup will be held on Saturday, the 7th of August at 18:00 UTC (two hours before the usual time of the meetups).
Preparing all related material for the announcements.
@gokermu I am attaching a cover that Dimitar has provided, I can have eventually also one without text but if you can start preparing the thumbnail it would be perfect.

Great announcement—sounds like a really valuable session for the community! Looking forward to the meetup and the Blender insights for architectural concept design. Let me know if any help is needed with announcements or thumbnails 👍

  • Thanks for sharing!

I’ll create the thumbnail myself—I’ll check out the site and design something based on the xeokit visuals and AEC theme 👍

For the title, I agree it’s a bit long. A cleaner version could be:
“xeokit: 3D Web Toolkit for AEC Graphics”

Looks concise and still clear. Let me know if you want any tweaks!
