Coming from an AutoCAD back ground to drawing with constraints for the first time in FreeCAD, I really hated it.

This will happen in time, but the usefulness of this approach is that multiple creative tools (freecad, archipack, blender itself, etc..) can interoperate.

Freecad is probably your best bet in the long run and it looks amazing but likewise I don't know why I'm so hesitant every time I try to learn it.
